Resolving the Website Loading Issues in Mozilla Firefox on Windows

Mozilla Foundation offers the open-source Mozilla Firefox Web browser in free to all computer users. It is compatible with Windows, Macintosh, Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, Debian and other operating systems. Define the problem first
Answer the following questions to know the severity of your Firefox issue.
1. Are other installed Web browsers working fine to browse the Websites?
2. Are you getting issue with only one specific Website or all the Websites?
3. Is only Mozilla Firefox giving the problem?
4. Are you able to connect to Internet with other software?

Checking the Firefox first

4. Select 'Everything' in the drop-down menu and click 'Clear Now' button.
Check the Web browsing in Mozilla Firefox. If the problem still exists then continue with next steps.
Checking the Security Software
Sometime the security applications (Internet Security, Antivirus, Firewall or Antivirus) block the applications to access the Internet. Please check whether the installed Security Application has blocked the Mozilla Firefox or not. You are required to provide the full access rights to the Firefox. Verifying Connection Settings

Configuring the Firefox

To open Internal Configuration in Firefox

2. A message "This might void your warranty! Changing these advanced settings..." will appear on screen.

Verifying Work Offline Setting
Sometimes the work offline string gets permanently enabled in the internal settings. Follow below steps to disable Work Offline setting,
1. Type the name 'network.manage-offline-status' in the Filter box or scroll down to find it.
2. Check whether it is set to 'False' value or not. Firefox will work fine to browse Websites when this value is false.
3. Double click the setting to change its value to true.
Open a new tab and check whether Firefox works fine to browse the Websites or not. Continue to next step if you still face the problem.
NOTE: You can cross the Filter message if you have typed the setting name to find it.
Checking IPv6
Mozilla Firefox works with IPv6 protocol always. Some networks or Internet connections doesn't support it. Follow below steps to disable IPv6 with Firefox,
1. Look for the option named 'network.dns.disableIPv6'.
2. Double click it to change its value to TRUE.
3. Click at the OK button if you get any prompt.
Check the Firefox working and if you have browsing issue with it then continue to next step.
DNS Prefetching
Mozilla Firefox uses DNS Prefetching to speed up its Web browsing performance. Sometime it frequently gets error message due to this functionality. Follow below steps to disable DNS Prefetching.
1. Look for the option called 'network.dns.disablePrefetch'.
2. Double click this option to change its value to TRUE.
3. Click the OK button.
